Governance#
tobac is a community project, and is such governed by community committees made up of developers and users.
tobac Lead Developers#
The maintenance of tobac, including approving and merging pull requests, releasing new versions, and ensuring the package is widely available through e.g., conda-forge and pypi. The lead developers are responsible for running the monthly developer meetings, which are open to the broader tobac community.

tobac Steering Committee#
While the tobac lead developers are responsible for the day-to-day development and maintenance of tobac, the broader tobac steering committee is responsible for governing the longer-term roadmap for the package.
